MiCiM are pleased to announce that we are working in partnership with Polar Data Centers to deliver their new AI-ready data centre development in Herøya, Norway, as the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) Contractor.

Known as HER01, this liquid cooled high density 40MW site in the Herøya Industrial Park, with a target PUE of 1.12, makes use of an existing warehouse structure and modular construction methods to minimise waste and environmental impact, and to ensure a rapid turnaround.

At MiCiM, we act as an extension of our clients’ teams, providing independent Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services that bring together commercial, technical, programme, and delivery expertise from inception through to completion of commissioning.

HER01 is MiCiM’s first data centre project in Norway and the first delivered by our newest branch, MiCiM Nordic, established in 2025.
